kino international is a theatrical, wholesale, and retail distributor
of high-quality classic and contemporary films. kino required an enhanced
Internet storefront, an integrated product catalog and easy to use administrative
tools to better manage their online environment.

we assembled a project team and put forward a vision of the site that
married a experienced and capable software developers and designers
with low cost hardware and open source software.

we delivered a fully integrated content management system, product
and product metadata databases, a promotions engine, an e-commerce system,
a shopping cart system, product data feeds and a plethora of web-based
administrative tools.

the completed system radically streamlined the management of products
and product promotions, automated the order flow eliminating manual
data entry between the web and legacy systems, and automated credit
card verification and payment processing.

subsequent phases of the project will address e-mail marketing, user
accounts, order history and order tracking.
