q: how does your business work?
a: clients engage our services on a monthly retainer (1, 2, or 3 days per month) and we spread those hours throughout the month to give them personal attention and frequent contact. we meet regularly with the company's ceo, president or senior vp.
b: we offer independent software development (on-shore and off-shore) and clients engage our services on a project by project basis.
q: what kinds of things do you help with?
a: we start with a scope or work and then customize this to each business' unique situation.
q: how do you set priorities?
a: priorities are established and work proceeds on two tracks at the same time: "hot" issues (e.g. short-term crunch or potential deal) long-term projects (e.g. developing the plan or overhauling system.)
q: would we still maintain control?
a: yes. you and your staff retain responsibility for and control of your company's management decisions.
q: do you work on a retainer basis, or would we have to sign a long-term contract?
a: we work with clients on a month-to-month basis.
q: do you ever work in exchange for stock options?
a: in select situations we do consider being compensated partly through equity.
