Amazon’s Mechanical Turk is crowd sourcing – leveraging a crowd for human tasks – programmatically. Imagine your business process involves stop gaps and breaks due to conflicts and missing information – that cannot be resolved in an algorithm. That often requires human intervention – here enters Mechanical Turk. Imagine being able to call a human through an API – and receive back the result – again through an API.
