we’ve created a high performance annotation solution that makes images more discoverable and connected. the system also helps optimize both productivity and accuracy of crowd sourced workers. it goes beyond simple free-text tags and includes strong IDs to unique, well-defined concepts and metadata. it runs a symfony project-based cms on aws ec2 and interfaces with magnum’s orange logic dam on one side and mturk on the other. stay tuned for further developments …

we presented at magnum photos agm this weekend june 26th 2010 in nyc.  these annual meetings of the “cooperative” are the stuff of legend.  they are as much known for outright flammability as they are for the incredible depth of talent in attendance. at least its not boring. thanks to karen, daniel and the whole magnum team.

in collaboration with am designs, we are very proud to announce the launch of the children’s music fund. children’s music fund is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide musical instruments and music therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with chronic and life altering illnesses, and to support research on the effects of music therapy.
